With the 2014-15 season drawing to a close, it was time to make a small presentation to the Tralee Table Tennis Club Player of the Year for 2015. It's been five years since our club first entered a Munster Ranking event, and one player has represented us in almost every ranking event held in Munster since that time, from Under-12 (as it was known then) right up to Under-18. He is about to graduate to the Senior ranks, and hopefully he will continue to represent Tralee in the future at Senior level.

Alan Hobbart was the first Tralee player to reach a semi-final at Under-18 level, the first to represent Tralee in the Junior Inter-Provincial level, and a key member of the Green C.B.S. Under-19 Schools team who were runners up in the 2014-15 Schools Finals. He was on the team that were All-Ireland Community Games Champions.

A worthy winner of the 2015 Player of the year award!
